“Enda ukule lunch,” Matiang’i tells off T.V Reporter

A Citizen T.V News Reporter was on Tuesday told off by Dr. Fred Matiang’i, for asking a question the Education C.S deemed as “siasa.”

The Education C.S alongside his ICT counterpart, Joe Mucheru, and KNEC Chairman, Prof. George Magoha, were exiting a Kenya Institude of Curriculum Development (KICD) building after releasing the 2017 KCPE results when a reporter attached to Citizen T.V – Sam Gituku – approached him for a short follow-up interview.

Towards the end of the interview, the reporter posed at Dr. Matiang’i, “…just as you leave, so when do we expect the KCSE results?” to which the Education C.S responded with, “Weeeh bwana…” eliciting laughter from the dignitaries present.

Matiang’i further added, “…enda ukule lunch, we’re doing exams alafu unaanza siasa kwa kazi?”

The overall top performer in the 2017 KCPE examinations scored 455 marks out of the possible 500.
