American rapper P. Diddy’s ex-girlfriend and mother of his three children, Kim Porter, is dead.
Ms Porter, 47, was found dead Thursday at her Los Angeles home, TMZ reports.
Law enforcement sources told the entertainment outlet that they got a call to Porter’s Toluca Lake home around noon.
According to emergency dispatch audio, the call came in as a patient in cardiac arrest.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ, Kim went to bed early Wednesday night, because she wasn’t feeling well and when family members went to wake her Thursday she was non-responsive. Paramedics pronounced her dead at her home.
A source close to Kim told TMZ that she had been suffering flu-like symptoms, and possibly pneumonia, for several weeks, but it’s still unclear what exactly caused her death.
Another source said Kim had contacted her doctor on Wednesday, November 14 complaining she wasn’t feeling any better.
Diddy and Kim’s on-and-off relationship, which began in 1994 and ended formally in 2007, produced three children.
Their first born child, a son, Christian, was born in 1998, while their twin girls, Jessie James and D’Lila, were born in 2006.
Ms Porter also had a son, Quincy Brown, from her previous relationship with Al B. Sure!.
The whole family was last together – in public – in October, 2018 supporting Quincy at the premiere for his movie, “The Holiday Calendar.”
Kim worked as both a model and an actress, and she made appearances on Diddy’s show, “I Want to Work for Diddy.”
Diddy’s representative, Cindi Berger, told TMZ: “Sadly, I can confirm the passing of Kim Porter. I ask that you give the families privacy at this time.”
