For the past year, Beyonce and Jay Z’s love boat has been wearing a particularly rough storm, if US media reports are anything to go by.
Even those who held out hope for the musical power couple have raised brows following the release of Beyonce’s new album Lemonade.
Numerous lyrics in her emotion packed album touch on infidelity, jealousy and marital strife.
On the Formation track, Beyonce sings, “Are you cheating on me? I don’t want to lose my pride…What’s worse, looking jealous or crazy…I’d rather be crazy.”
In just after few minutes into the special HBO release, Beyonce is heard saying, “…but still…the need to know, did you cheat on me?”
In her song, Hold up, the Irreplaceable hit-maker is also heard saying; “…can’t you see there is no other man above you. What a wicked way to treat the girl that loves you. Hold up. They do not love you like I love you, slow down; they do not love you like I love you.”
After these lyrics, many fans were left wondering if the painful lyrics an indicator of the turmoil that Queen Bey is experiencing in her relationship with the music mogul.
Most twitter fans think so.

The Beyhive – the moniker given to Beyonce’s diehard fans – have even gone as far as insulting Jay Z online.
Some Hollywood pundits have opined that the album could be veiled divorce announcement.
Others have, however stated that the marital issues alluded are not hers, but those of her parents.
Beyoncé’s parents, Mathew and Tina Knowles divorced in2011 after 31 years of marriage. Mathew had allegedly cheated on Queen Bey’s mother, fathering a love child with his mistress.
Whether the lyrics are about her marriage or her mother’s, one thing is for sure: they tell the story of betrayal and deep pain.
Beyonce and Jay Z tied the knot in 2008 at a lavish private ceremony.
They are blessed with an adorable daughter, Blue Ivy.
