Tanzanian crooner Diamond Platnumz has tested negative for the novel coronavirus according to an update on his social media.
Also cleared to return home is the singer’s manager Sallam Sharaff who previously said he had tested positive for the virus.

I would like to thank Allah for completing my 14 days of isolation without a coronavirus infection. Allhamdulilah. My sincere gratitude goes to the government, through the Ministry of Health and all doctors who were taking care of us, making sure that they tested us for the whole 14 days. Sharaff had reportedly tested positive for coronavirus earlier in March after he returned from a tour of Europe.
Sallam is believed to have travelled to Europe on March 5 where he visited Switzerland, Denmark and France and returned on Saturday, March 14.
While there he announced the cancellation of Diamond’s shows due to the pandemic that was already ravaging Europe.
Four other members of Diamond inner circle have also been cleared to resume their normal day-to-day lives after
