Popular Nigerian singer Davido has threatened to publish the names of people who owe him money.
Davido took to his social media page, Snapchat, on Wednesday to reveal that some of his debtors are government officials.
In the ultimatum issued to his debtors, Davido said should they not refund him by end of Wednesday, January 17, he will be left with no choice, but to expose them to the public.
The Fall hit-maker, however, did not reveal the total amount of money he is owed by people known to him.
Davido’s threat comes four days after news broke that he has been dragged to court by the Lagos State government for tax evasion.
“I will be putting out a list of people owing me (money) in this Lagos very soon. Some think that they can evade refunding me because they occupy government positions in Lagos. Let us see where the posts will take you. If you don’t refund me by end of today (Wednesday, January 17), I will publish your names to the public,” wrote Davido.
