Interior Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiangi has appointed Kenyan comedian Chipukeezy to the NACADA board.
In a June 5, 2018 Gazette Notice number 5593, Dr Matiangi says Chipukeezy, whose real name is Vincent Mwasia Mutua, will be a “member of the National Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (Nacada) Board, for a period of three (3) years” beginning June 6, 2018.
Chipukeezy was appointed to the board alongside another Kenyan identified as George Ogalo.
Chipukeezy follows in the footsteps of Starehe Member of Parliament Charles Njagua, alias Jaguar, who served as a NACADA board member before plunging into politics in 2017.
EDAILY reached Chipukeezy for comment, but our phone calls to him went unanswered.
