Former Manchester City star had a reason to smile as he renewed his vows to childhood sweetheart Vanesa Mansilla in their native Argentina on Thursday afternoon.
The outgoing Boca Juniors striker, 32, looked dapper in a powder blue suit and crisp white shirt following the extravagant civil ceremony in San Isidro, a provincial district close to Argentine capital Buenos Aires.
Defying convention, Vanesa looked stunning in a thigh-skimming semi-sheer lace gown decorated with floral embellishments.
Offering his bride one of their first kisses following the service , an ecstatic Tevez beamed as they posed alongside children Florencia, Katie and Lito Junior.
The couple originally met when the footballer was 13-years old but went through an on-off relationship as his flourishing career took him across the world, with successful stints at English clubs West Ham United, Manchester United, Manchester City and Italian giants Juventus.
Tevez and Vanesa are thought to be celebrating after the ceremony with 260 guests on a four-day trip to Uruguay before the footballer prepares for his widely reported move to Chinese side Shanghai Shenhua – a move that will make him the highest paid player in world football.
