The vehicle, a Toyota Alphard of registration plate KBU 456C, was heading to Nairobi from Moyale.

The vehicle was driven to a nearby police station, where a thorough search yielded the shocking discovery of 5Kgs bhang stashed in two tubeless tyres of the vehicle.

The vehicle driver, Daniel Njuguna, owner, Boniface Muthee, a teacher at Gurumesa Academy in Moyale, and two other suspects were arrested.

Marsabit County Police Commander Steve Oloo confirmed the incident.

They are expected to be arraigned on Friday, March 22.
