Do you have hopes of being a top artist? Well you’re in luck because award-winning gospel singer, Bahati, is offering to foot half of your studio fees if you record at his newly opened studio, EMB Records.
But you better rush because this offer stands for the first 20 artists only. For those who will not be the first 20, he has not forgotten you either. The recording studio is reasonable for those who have no financial power to materialize their dreams.
Bahati recently opened the EMB recording studio with the aim of giving back to the society.
He set up the recording studio in Eastlands, where he grew up, because it is more affected by poverty and hardship. To honor his humble beginings, Bahati named the studio Eastlands Most Beloved (EMB).
On a post in social media on 5th October, he put up a picture of the reception of the studio and mentioned that he had just recorded his first song at the studio to leave a blessing as he opened it to other musicians.
The 20-year-old soft-spoken artist understands the struggle of an upcoming artist and is looking to nurture and empower new talent with professional services.
“I know many are artists with a dream of getting the best quality musically/artistically but are not in a position to pay these great producers just like my case was.” He recently said.
Bahati, who grew up in children’s home, wishes to see more success stories from Eastlands.
The Mama singer also captured the hearts of many Kenyans when he adopted three children from ABC Kenya children’s home: Rose (10), Morgan and Purity (both 4).
Bahati, who recently released the song kuchu kuchu, sparked controversy for collaborating with secular artists Wyre and Rabbit .
However, in his response he said that he had sought God’s face about the joint venture and he feels that it is time of the two artists to pour their hearts to God.
“You know when I was doing that hit with Wyre and Rabbit, I was doing it for God and you will be surprised to know that the two artists actually wrote their stanzas after hearing the chorus and it was only during the recording that they heard the whole song,” said the hit making gospel artist.
Bahati has sung Machozi, Barua and Lover. The artists’ work were recognized just a few months after he started his career and since then he has been releasing a series of hits.
