Avicii buried 49 days after his death

Electronic music DJ, Avicii, was buried last Friday, June 8 in a private ceremony held at Stockholm, Sweden. The date marks 49 days since the entertainer passed away on April 20.

“His funeral was held last Friday, attended by his closest family and friends,” Avicii’s publicist Ebba Lindqvist said in a press statement.

Following his death, his family penned an open letter saying the 28-year-old “could not go on any longer and wanted peace”, suggesting Avicii committed suicide.
