Nollywood actress and wife to music icon 2Face, Annie Idibia decided to share the Christmas spirit with a group of orphans on Saturday and has since posted about the experience.
“Today was very exciting and yet emotional for me… These kids have never been to the cinema or watch a movie on a very big screen, so when @orphanscorp called and told me about their idea, I totally fell for it! It was different, its something I never thought of… It was quite exposing and educating for them, they were excited!” she wrote.
“We should never take the grace of God in our lives for granted! All these kids do not know the love of a father or mother! Or what it feels like to have a parent take you out, run after you, check on you every min, they feel alone most times from a very tender age… Being so close to them today got me thinking….. #showLove #giveLove #picsWithD1st50kids will post with the other kids too.. #Abuja #200preciouskids,” she added.
Annie later posted “Thank you Lord!!! For gift of life, for the family that loves us, and the parent that raised us! #grateful #blessedChild #contentment #200PreciousKids #movies #Abuja”
In October, the actress actively participated in the Breast Cancer awareness by allegedly shaving her hair.
She posted a picture on her Instagram saying: “Recent studies have shown that 20% of breast cancer is discovered by self-examination rather than mammography and we must realize that cancer is not a respecter of persons. It could happen to anyone, even I Annie Idibia.”
She urged women to perform self-checks as this could potentially save their lives.
“Imagine the lives that will be saved if more women physically checked themselves on a regular basis. Imagine if we could stand against breast cancer by fighting the odds via self-examination. Let’s save the life of a woman today, let’s examine ourselves today!”
However, some quotas have doubted if indeed the Nollywood star had gone bald, with most of them terming the transformation Photoshop stunt.
