Kenyan girl Abilasha Muthoni ,8,- a talented showstopper- has jumped smack into the fight against the novel coronavirus with a message of hope for the afflicted.
In a delightful but emotional poem, hoping to make it easier for millions of Kenyans affected by the pandemic, a teary-eyed Muthoni begins her poem with:
“What is this, oh coronavirus, what power do you have over the world,” she asks
In the raw and emotional poem, she delves effortlessly into the effects of the global pandemic talking about the loss of jobs, deaths, and economic reccesion.
While at it, she asks Kenyans to turn back to God in prayer and in repentance as the pandemic has got out of hand.
The latest is testimony that this young girl who stole the hearts of Kenyans earlier in the year performing before DP Ruto is a star in the making.
Not even the new coronavirus that is wreaking global havoc is too big a topic for this young but gallant soldier.
You can watch the poem below.
