Two Kenya Navy soldiers died on Sunday following an argument that turned tragic. The incident happened in Likoni, Mombasa.
A fight between the two — namely Kibet and Kimutai — broke out at 3am on Sunday, May 12 over reasons yet to be known.
It is said one of the soldiers was off duty, whereas the other was standing guard at the Mtongwe Navy base when the incident happened.
During the argument, Kibet reportedly grabbed Kimutai’s firearm and shot him dead before fatally turning the gun on himself.
The bodies of the two were taken to a Mombasa morgue.
Police in Mombasa confirmed the incident, but declined to give more information.
