Police on Monday, September 26, arrested a 22-year-old woman for allegedly stabbing another to death following a love triangle dispute in Busia.
The suspect is said to have committed the crime in Mundika market, Matayos Constituency Monday.
Confirming the incident, Busia County police boss Halima Mohammed said the suspect allegedly stabbed her victim, who was headed to a salon, in the neck using a kitchen knife, leading to the latter’s death.
The suspect had accused the deceased of eloping with her husband.
Ms Halima said police are investigating the matter and the suspect would be arraigned for murder or manslaughter charges as soon as investigations are concluded.
